Bringing Hope to a Hopeless World
Gospel Light Worldwide is currently helping children enter and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in 16 different countries in four major regions of the world divided into four major categories:
Critical Nations | These countries have become our highest priority projects because they are where we have been called and the Lord is actively working. We consider China, India and South Africa our 2009 Critical Nations.
Under Review | This country has recently come to our attention as we prayed and studied God’s Word. The Bible is very clear about blessing Israel and whom the Lord loves. We are seeking His direction on how best to serve His people and His Land.
Ongoing Significance | These are the projects  are either in the early stages of transitioning to sustainability or still in ongoing development. Included are Cameroon, Kenya, Uganda and Poland.
Transitioning | These projects are in the final stages of transitioning towards self-sustainability. Transitioning countries include Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia, Egypt, Georgia, Lebanon, Romania and Russia. Donations to these countries moving towards self-sustainability can be made directly to our transitioning partner, World Vision.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 2006 Midyear International Database, Africa has 371,571,125 children under the age of 14; India has 337,331,587 children under the age of 14; China has 273,907,572 children under the age of 14; and Latin America has 103,179,670 children under the age of 14.
In the world, there are only 1,789,461,717 – that’s one billion, seven hundred eighty-nine million, four hundred sixty-one thousand, seven hundred and seventeen children under 14 years of age. That means that over 60 percent of all children under the age of 14 reside in those four regions.
