Q. Are you a profit or not-for-profit organization?
Gospel Light Worldwide is an independent non-denominational 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit religious California corporation. Many people ask this question because we share the Gospel Light name with our for-profit sister publishing company.
Q. How can you provide an entire year of children’s Bible lessons for $1 per student?
We start with the finest curriculum in the world being donated to us 100% free of charge by Gospel Light publications. Then, we collaborate with the resident Church and other ministries pushing the cost per child down to the lowest levels possible.
Q. What does the $1 cover?
$1 covers the total cost for an entire year of children’s Bible lessons, including a culturally relevant translation, teacher training, printing and distribution of the materials, delivering the lessons and evaluation.
Q. Where did the Free Church Movie Night idea come from?
We wanted to help ease some of the suffering churches and church goers were experiencing from the economic downturn. Churches across America, regardless of size or denomination, are seeking creative, new ways to engage their members without incurring new expenses. Creating the Free Church Movie Night was our contribution.
