Licensing or Distribution?
In regards to English International, Gospel Light has two options: licensing or distribution. Gospel Light makes the determination whether they prefer licensing or distribution for a specific title in a specific region/distribution area.
In March 2007, the publisher, Gospel Light, appointed Gospel Light Worldwide as their exclusive English International LICENSING agent.
For DISTRIBUTION of ITPEs (International Trade Paper edition), Gospel Light has appointed an outside representative, Abridge International, as their exclusive agent for English international distribution. Bill Schultz is the owner. Bill was previously the Vice President at Gospel Light for Sales and International. You may contact Bill directly at bill@abridgeintl.com should your publishing house be interested in ITPE distribution instead of licensing your own edition.
If your publishing house requests to license a title, please provide us with the TERMS which include the distribution, the advance you are offering and the Royalty percentages per three (3) tiers:
- 1-3000 copies sold at
- 3001-9999 copies sold at
- 10000 copies sold and thereafter at
Gospel Light Worldwide will approach Regal on your behalf and they will decide on the terms including distribution, which are satisfactory to them. We will then let you know their decision. We may need additional info from your publishing house to provide to Gospel Light.
If one is not already on file, we will have you fill out our form: International Publishing Information form (IPIF). Should we contract with your publishing house, this form will assist us in filling out our contract. Our IPIF form is available here.
