The Free Church Movie Night concept was created as our ministry response to help ease some of the suffering churches and church goers are experiencing from the economic downturn. Churches across America, regardless of size or denomination, are seeking creative, new ways to engage their members without incurring new expenses.
Our president Marc Stein says, “When we consider how important entertainment becomes during troubled times, creating a Free Church Movie Night platform seemed like a reasonable thing for us to do. To be relevant today, we need to make quality Christian entertainment accessible, affordable and desirable.”
The message of ‘Journey of the Heart’ is too important to miss because of shrinking resources. It says more in 30 minutes than the average Church member may be able to articulate in a lifetime. We want to see the Church vibrant. God will provide as we first seek His Kingdom

Promoting Your Event | Everything you need is available for download on the One Million Children website. Print posters and hang them in places of high visibility. Print small Movie Posters personalized with your Church name, time and date of the showing; and put them in your church bulletin.Print postcards and hand them out to friends at work and others in the community.
What To Do on the Night of the Event | Make ‘One Million Children: Journey of the Heart’ the sole focus of your evening. Have someone give a welcome your guests and introduce the film. When the movie has finished, offer a chance to participate by discussing the film and should the Lord rouse their hearts; offer donation forms (also on the website) that could be collected as people leave.
After the Event |Â Report the following week to your pastors or at church about the event and how you helped children know Jesus. You may want to even have a second showing for those who missed it.
