Gospel Light Worldwide serves the international Christian community by helping children enter and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through culturally relevant, age-appropriate Bible resources and teacher training. In partnership with local church and other ministry organizations, we bring God’s word to Children through:
- Curriculum Adaptation
- Culturally Relevant Translation
- Printing, Distribution and Transfer of Power – Our desire is to transition the publishing rights and responsibilities to the local church or other sustainable ministry organizations as soon as possible, generally after the first printing.
- Transmittable Teacher Training
With 3½ domestic staff, we are currently managing 16 similar projects focused in four key regions of the world: Asia, Eastern Europe/Former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Africa.
Affiliations
Gospel Light Worldwide is an independent non-denominational 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit religious California corporation serving the international Christian community. We are a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA).
It is important to note that we are not legally connected to any other organization however we have on-going relationship with Gospel Light and Regal Books.
On-going Relationship Explained
In the simplest form, Gospel Light Worldwide is the not-for-profit sister ministry to Christian curriculum publisher Gospel Light and Christian book publisher Regal Books. The entire Gospel Light publishing family supports the work of Gospel Light Worldwide in two major ways.
First, through donations. Gospel Light Publications tithe corporate pre-tax profits, employees participate in payroll deduction contributions and the company also donates additional gifts to help bring God’s Word to children around the world.
Secondly, Gospel Light authorizes Gospel Light Worldwide to manage their international English, non-English licensing and audio rights for Regal Books. In return, Gospel Light and Regal Books pays Gospel Light Worldwide a management service fee plus donates all their non-English royalties to Gospel Light Worldwide. Many Regal authors also donate their international royalties.
Donations and business revenue from Gospel Light and Regal Books help subsidize the day-to-day G&A expenses of the ministry. We are grateful for their ongoing support.
