Only $1 Per Child For An Entire Year of Culturally Relevant, Age Appropriate Bible Lessons
Once you leave the United States, the concept of children’s Bible study is still something of an innovation. At the same time, churches, pastors and others in the international mission field are citing ministry to children as one of their top priorities.
Over 70 years ago, the legendary Bible teacher and Gospel Light founder Henrietta C. Mears established the foundation of Gospel Light Worldwide to fulfill one vital purpose: to put the best possible Bible teaching tools into the hands of teachers and learners around the world. Today, $1 per child can accomplish that almost anywhere in the world.
Gospel Light Worldwide President Marc Stein expands, “Because we collaborate with local churches and other international ministries, much of the hard dollar costs are shared pushing the net cost per child down to our lowest level ever. Add to that the economies of scale and we estimate the actual hard dollar cost for Gospel Light Worldwide is approximately $1 per child especially when we factor multiple years of Bible study.”
$1 covers the total cost for an entire year of children’s Bible study or Sunday School, including a culturally relevant translation, teacher training, printing and distribution of the materials, delivering the lessons and evaluation.
