Teacher Training in Early 2008
The Coptic Orthodox Church is a living witness of faithful discipleship to Our Lord. This ancient church, which was at the forefront of discipleship and apostolic fervor in the early centuries of Christianity, still continues on that same path in the 21st century. Against all odds, they are able to harness their energies to spread the good news of Our Lord.
Through the joint efforts of many dedicated Christians, under the guidance of His Eminence Bishop Botros, young children and youth are being nurtured in the Christian faith. The Youth Bible Curriculum holds a central place in this effort of evangelization.
Witnessing the fervent faith and devotion of a great number of young people fills one with hope. The presence of many young men and women at the teacher training event and at the pilgrimage sites of the ancient monasteries give testimony to the fact that they are dedicated to learn, pray and grow in the Christian faith.
Soon they will have the first volume of the Youth Bible Curriculum printed and available for use in their day schools, and Church Schools.
