Update on First Training from Sudha in Chennai, India

Dear Partners in Christ,

The Gospel training kicked off in action on the 27th of January 2007 at the Resurrection Lutheran church in chennai at 10:30 am. Pastor Muthu opened us in prayer. We had an awesome time at the training. Praise God for all his provision, protection and guidance. Without His presence at the training we would have failed.

We had 39 trainees and all of them were in awe of the material. They think it’s new and easy to teach. We also emphasized the importance of communicating the 12 week program at the festival. We distributed feedback forms to all the trainees. I can scan them and will send them to you.

We had a lot of inquiries about long term Sunday school materials. Please take a look at the attached program order to know more of what we did. These Gospel trainees will now go back and train another 10 or more depending on the size of their city. Some said that they would start training other trainees tomorrow itself. God bless you all.

What’s next?

1. Send out materials to all the festival cities
2. Get the exact count of churches participating from each city from each local coordinator ( we have an approximate count now)
3. Appoint 9 other leaders to oversee the Children’s area.
4. Go over the counseling process and 12 week program once more at the festival.
5. Get ready to launch the 12 week program.
